What to expect when you visit Calming Waters
Please be aware, your behavior is expected to be professional, with good morals and ethics. I have a zero (0) tolerance policy for any sexual comments, behavior or innuendos and any such actions taken by a client may be reported to the authorities. Additionally, in the case of such acts your massage will immediately be over with and you will forfeit the remaining time and money remaining on the massage. You will also be asked not to return to Calming Waters Therapeutic Massage in the future.

Your Appointment
During your first appointment I will add an additional 15 minutes to it so we may discuss general health issues and needs to ascertain that massage is appropriate for you at this time and to ascertain the type of massage that would benefit you the most.
Most massage techniques require disrobing either completely or to undergarments. This is done in private while the Therapist is out of the room. Normally you will be covered with a sheet or towel and only the area being worked on will be exposed unless you specifically request otherwise.

Length of Session
The minimum length of a table massage session is one hour.
The minimum length of a chair massage session is 15 minutes.
You may request one and one half or two hour sessions if desired.

During the Massage
Make yourself as comfortable as possible. The Therapist will inform you of the position they wish you to be in. Close your eyes, relax, breathe. Feel free to engage in conversation with the Therapist, or relax in silence. Ask about your Therapy, give feedback during the massage to make your experience better. Most of all RELAX!

After the Massage
Make sure to rise slowly from the massage table after your massage. Take a few moments to gather yourself, your Therapist will leave the room while you get dressed. Remember you have been in a very relaxed state so take your time when getting up. Drink plenty of water to help flush the toxins in your body.
(Note: It is a West Virginia State Law that all clients remain draped during the massage session. Feel free to get comfortable removing undergarments or wearing them or shorts, but remember you will be draped during your session).
